Steven Saltiel, 73, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026. Born on September 30, 1952 Steven spent his childhood in Brooklyn, New York before moving to Woodmere, New York on Long Island. For over 40 years, Steven successfully ran his business alongside his two brothers. He fostered a love of travel, golf, fishing, the New York Yankees and anything outdoors. He loved his family above all else. He spent many years with his longtime partner Genie traveling the world and enjoying life. He especially enjoyed golfing and fishing in Florida. He was deeply devoted to his two boys, Robert and Schuyler and adored his five grandchildren. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, capacity for endless hours of watching sports and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his partner Genie Levin, his son, Robert and his wife Stacy, his son, Schuyler and his wife Leigh, five grandchildren, Samuel, Nora, Meredith, Sean, and William, his brothers Irwin, and Howard, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Sol and Julia.
