Joyce Speiller-Morris, age 80, of Highland Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Joseph R. Morris. Joyce is survived by her stepchildren, Jennifer Mazzella of Naples and Theresa Parsons of Tallahassee; her nephew, Geordan Speiller; and her sister-in-law, Dr. Nidia Chediak of Boca Raton. Joyce served as a Professor of English for 36 years, teaching at colleges and universities throughout the three local counties. She touched the lives of countless students through her passion for education, kindness, and dedication. Joyce will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her beautiful smile, gentle spirit, and warm heart.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 28, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Gutterman-Warheit Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 12:00 noon at Boca Raton Cemetery.
