Zita Waters Bell passed away on March 1, 2024 at the age of 97 of natural causes in Palm Beach County, Florida. Zita was known as a local legend as an antique show promoter. Her business Zita Waters Bell Inc. was recognized both in the United States and internationally for presenting elegant and important shows of the utmost quality. The shows benefited many local charitable organizations. Prior to this Zita was a recognized pioneer for getting women into the workplace with her business Desk Set Personnel in the 1960’s. Desk Set became the leading employment agency in South Jersey. She was a women ahead of her time and a true entrepreneur who was often profiled in the media. She leaves behind a daughter Abby Waters, son Mitchell Lewis Waters, grandson Robert Lewis Waters and nephew Nicholas Sanders Her husband Merrill Bell pre deceased.
