Barbara E. Cohen, Esq., a resident of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2024, after a courageous eight-year battle with metastatic breast cancer. She was 65 years old.
Born on April 27, 1959, in Brooklyn, New York, Barbara was the beloved daughter of Marilyn and Bernard Cohen. She is survived by her devoted brother, Alan, and sister-in-law, Marla. Barbara was a devoted aunt to her cherished niece, Brooke, and adored step-nieces, Stephanie Reilly (Brendan) and Leah Hawk. She is also survived by other extended family members.
Throughout her life, Barbara was known for her warmth, kindness, and resilience. Her family and friends remember her as a beacon of positivity and love, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Her legacy of compassion and strength will continue to inspire those who knew her.
A memorial service will be held to honor Barbara’s life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Barbara’s memory to Metavivor, supporting metastatic breast cancer research.
Barbara will be deeply missed, but her spirit and love will remain with us forever.
