Bernice Nagelberg, nee Bernice Miller, born on August 18, 1932 and passed away on April 1, 2026 at her home in Boynton Beach, Fl.
Bernice is survived by her son Marc, daughter-in-law Stacy and her grandchildren Ruby and Jacob (Lindsay) who were the pride of her life.
She is predeceased by her husband Howard and son Stephen.
In 1954, Bernice married Howard and together they raised two sons Stephen and Marc. Throughout her life, Bernice kept true to the promise she made to her mother Lily, to always keep the Jewish holidays and the Jewish traditions in her heart and home. Like her mom she worked outside of the home and was respected for her business acumen, but she always put family first.
Bernice and Howard retired to South Florida in 1996 where their home was often a gathering place for family and friends, this earned her a reputation as the consummate hostess, especially for the holiday dinners and celebrations, a tradition she continued even after the passing of her beloved Howard in 2017.
Intelligent, forthright, a force-of nature, resilient are but a few of the adjectives claimed by those who knew her best. Bernice held on to traditional values born of her generation, while taking joy in conversations with her grandchildren and hearing their perspectives on life. For all who knew her well, she will be forever missed but not forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to Woodstock Jewish Congregation.
