Donna Abend, 73, of North Woodmere, New York, passed away on May 26, 2025, at Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital.
Donna was born on September 30, 1951, in New York, New York. She was a dedicated teacher in Queens, a loving mother and grandmother, and a devoted wife to her husband. She loved baking, cooking, and celebrating holidays with her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, and she cherished every moment with her grandchildren, who brought her immense happiness and pride.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce, her brother, Howie, her sister, Robin, her brother-in-law, Bob, her two sons, Matthew and Max, her two daughters-in-law, Sara and Julianne, her two grandsons, Zachary and Jacob, along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Donna’s memorial service will be held at one o’clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Gutterman’s Chapel in Rockville Centre, New York with visitation from noon until the service begins in the chapel on site. Following chapel services, interment will take place at Wellwood cemetery in West Babylon.
