Irwin Meltzer, age 91, of Monroe Township NJ passed away on Saturday, August
13, 2022 at Village Point Rehabilitation and Healthcare. He was born in Brooklyn,
raised his family on Long Island, retired in Boynton Beach, Florida, and spent his
last years in New Jersey.
Irwin rose up in his career through the years in Advertising Photography,
culminating in the ownership of his own successful Catalog Photography Studio,
providing services to some of the largest department stores of his time. While
working hard, usually 6 days a week, he always found quality time to spend with
his family.
He is survived by his wife Rita Meltzer (Liemer), the love of his life, for 69 years.
Irwin was a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by
his daughter Beth Boyuka (Joseph), Shari Woogen (Wayne), grandchildren Leah
Woogen, Jessica Moyer, Micah Arygen, Sarah Bookman, Stephanie Freinberg, and
Zachariah Woogen and 5 great grandchildren: Michael, Madeline, Raelyn, Gemma
and Elijah, as well as numerous loving nieces and nephews.
