Morton D. Widen Born May 21, 1939 in Great Neck, NY. Morty as he was known, moved with his family to Woodmere. He worked for many years in the Automobile leasing industry. He spent his summers at the beach and Maine with his family. Morty was known by all as a dedicated Yankee fan and knew everything about the team’s history. Morty was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Stefanie, daughter Alixandra (Jacques), son Jeffrey (Denise), and granddaughter Elizabeth. He died May 18, 2026. He will be greatly missed by we who loved him dearly.
