On Friday, March 5, 2021, Philip Glickman of Bellmore, NY, loving husband, father of three children and grandfather of six grandchildren, passed away at age 87.
Phil was born on January 11, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY to Samuel and Sylvia. He received his bachelors degree from NYU in New York City, and was a Trader on Wall Street for close to 40 years. On December 26, 1965, he married Joyce Leibowitz. They raised two daughters, Lisa and Karen, and one son, Brad.
Phil was known for his kindness, generosity, dependability and loyalty. He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel, his mother, Sylvia and his wife, Joyce. He is survived by his three children; Lisa, Karen and Brad; son-in-law Adam; daughter-in-law Sheri; his six grandchildren Andrew, Eric, Arielle, Jonah, Brooke and Blake; his brother, Norman; companion Natalie; as well as several cousins and nephews. A funeral service will be held Monday, March 8th, 2021 at the Beth David cemetery in Elmont at 11:00 o’clock a.m. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
