Allison I. Naidich, 82, of Long Island, New York, passed away on March 7, 2026.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, on June 17, 1943, she was the daughter of Evelyn and Victor Rashkin. Allison spent much of her life on Long Island, particularly in Merrick and Garden City,
where she built a life centered on family, intellect and hard work.

Allison was known for her formidable intellect and deep curiosity about the world.
She followed current events closely and valued thoughtful conversation about politics, history and the issues shaping the world around her. Those who knew her recognized her
sharp mind, strong work ethic and clearly held commitment to family.

She devoted herself fully to the many roles she held throughout her life –
daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and grandmother. In addition to raising her family, Allison worked as a teacher and later served as the business manager of her husband’s law firm, where her intelligence, organization and dedication were invaluable.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard, her sister, Nadine (husband Paul),
her daughter, Jennifer, her son Jason (wife Trish) her nephew, Michael (wife Julie)
and Zachary, and her three cherished grandchildren, Theo, Cat and Henry

She was predeceased by her parents, Evelyn and Victor Rashkin

She faced the end of her life with determination and strength.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association

Allison will be remembered for her intelligence, strength of character and unwavering devotion to her family.

May her memory be a blessing
