He started his career at Beth David Cemetery in Elmont, NY at the age of 16, working on the landscaping crew during school breaks. After his time in the Army he went back to Beth David Cemetery to work alongside his father and brother building a remarkable career that ultimately found him leading the cemetery as its President. Through his work he built a reputation as a man who was admired for his warmth, compassion and dedication to caring for people when they were at their most vulnerable.

Warren’s commitment to putting the needs of others before his own went far beyond his career, kindness and generosity was the hallmark of his character. Warren was an avid fisherman and boater. He also had a deep passion for cars and collected a wide variety of unique cars over the years. Family was first and foremost to him, he was a devoted father to his three daughters, grandfather to his seven grandchildren and great-grandfather to his two great-grandchildren. Warren also cherished his relationships with his many nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his brother Neal Rosen (and his wife Terri) and sister Roberta Grandt.
